Singing Classes in Jalandhar
Singing classes in Jalandhar that put traditional vocal discipline beside modern voice craft. I work on breath, pitch, range and expression, with swaras (notes) and alankars (practice patterns) sitting comfortably next to playback technique and studio practice.

Vocal training for beginners
I begin with the voice you already have: breath, posture and a comfortable pitch range, then simple exercises that build steadiness. We choose songs early, because singing actual music is what makes technique stick.

Classical, playback and light music
You choose the direction. Some of my students want Hindustani classical discipline: swaras, alankars, raga and bandish. Others want to sing film and light music with better pitch, control and expression. Plenty work on both, and the technique serves each of them.
Who the classes suit
Children from age seven, adults who have never sung formally in their lives, singers preparing for recordings or stage work, and parents looking for structured vocal training for a young learner. I have taught all of them, and we usually start in the same place: the breath.

How singing lessons work
One-to-one classes run for 45 to 60 minutes and eight-class plans meet twice a week, at my studio in Urban Estate II, Jalandhar, or live online. I share practice notes and exercises after each session so your riyaz (daily practice) at home has a clear shape.
Frequently Asked Questions
The questions people ask me most often, answered here so you do not have to wait for a reply.
How much are singing classes in Jalandhar?
One-to-one classes are ₹3,500 per 8 classes, twice a week. Group classes are ₹1,000 per month, Mon & Thu from 10:00 am · Wed & Sat from 6:30 pm. A one-time visit to the studio is required before classes begin. A one-to-one class runs for 45 to 60 minutes, and fees are per learner.
Can I learn singing if I have never trained before?
Yes. Most students arrive with no formal training. The first lessons establish breath support and a comfortable range, then build pitch accuracy and tone through short daily practice rather than long, occasional sessions.
Is classical and playback singing both taught?
Both directions are available. Classical students study swaras, alankars, raga and bandish; playback-focused students work on diction, expression, microphone control and recorded takes. Many combine the two, and the vocal technique supports either path.
Do you prepare students for Hindustani classical vocal as well as modern singing?
Yes. Hindustani vocal classes here cover khayal, bandish and structured riyaz alongside breath, pitch and expression, and the same technique serves film and light singing. Students worldwide take these singing lessons online through Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp Video.
Are online singing classes available worldwide?
Yes. Live online vocal training runs through Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp Video for students worldwide, including NRIs. Every online plan begins with a free 15–30-minute demo class where syllabus and timings are agreed.
How long is each singing lesson?
A one-to-one singing lesson runs for 45 to 60 minutes, with eight-class plans held twice a week. Group singing classes follow a fixed monthly timetable of one hour, and practice notes are shared after every session.
